My name is Manny Vega, and I’ve come a long way from my roots in Odessa, TX. Today, I’m proud to call the beautiful city of San Antonio home, the place where my photography journey began 12 years ago when one of my closest friends gifted me my very first camera. Since that moment, everything changed.
Over the years, I’ve grown not only as an artist but as a storyteller. I am now an award-winning photographer, and my work has been published in Rolling Stone, Billboard, New York Weekly, and Texas Monthly, milestones I never imagined possible when I first picked up that camera. The pandemic unexpectedly accelerated my creative path, pushing me to experiment, refine my vision, and develop a deep passion for transforming ideas into meaningful imagery filled with emotion and intention.
I am especially grateful to the LGBTQ+ community for their unwavering support and constant encouragement. They inspire me to evolve every day and to create images and videos that I hope will leave a lasting impression for generations to come.
Beyond photography, I’ve recently been exploring new hobbies such as cooking and crafting. There is still so much left for me to discover, and I’m genuinely excited for everything the future holds.
